Infrared Sauna

An infrared sauna utilizes state-of-the-art infrared technology developed by NASA to provide deep heat and relaxation as never before encountered. Infrared saunas operate at safer, more comfortable temperatures than other saunas, only 110–150 degrees Fahrenheit. Traditional saunas rely on a stove to heat the air to as hot as 220F.

Infrared heat reaches deep into the body to be absorbed as much as 1.5 inches below the skin, while producing 2 to 3 times more sweat than other saunas. This results in a deep heating effect in the muscle tissue, joints, and internal organs without stress to the heart. The penetrating heat stimulates the heart to send more blood to the cells thus increasing circulation and achieving the conditioning benefits of continuous exercise, which can assist in weight loss. Through perspiration, acid and waste residue—like chemicals, pesticides, alcohol, nicotine, cholesterol, and potentially cancer-producing heavy metals—are removed from the cells.
